They are at it again!
The Training and Development Agency for Schools (TDA) is calling on current, former and retired qualified teachers to sign up to a
Government initiative to give extra support to 600,000 children who are falling behind.
Here they go again, meddling in an education system that is already designed to ensure our children leave school semi-literate and
innumerate. What would appear to be a sensible precaution on behalf of those responsible for education is actually a rather frightening admission.
If these people (and it is their responsibility to prevent such things happening) can blithely admit that 600,000 pupils are being denied the necessary support they need to master the subjects, what is the real figure? Do we have to multiply by 2, 3, 4 or even more?
Once again another little bit of social engineering is being planned so that the basic systems in place for education can safely continue failing. The root cause for this number of pupils failing to receive support in the education system is not being tackled! Another sticking plaster is being placed over a massive wound!
Isn’t it about time that the Blair model was withdrawn?
Isn’t it about time that the education system was controlled by educators, dedicated teachers, rather than by incompetent, career civil servants who know nothing from their own experience and haven’t read enough books to learn that their own level of academic achievement is totally innappropriate and inneffective when they try to apply it to control the actions and performance of qualified experts?
The UK is a nation of managers and supervisors and they are all slowly climbing the ladders of administration while learning nothing and forgetting everything. No longer is the shop keeper seen as the backbone of our nation. The shopkeeper is the poor, downtrodden citizen whose job it is to submit to intolerable interference from ignorant, text chanting know-nothings while paying through the nose to ensure that there will be a constant round of creation of text chanting know nothings for them to pay for.
Let’s get rid of experts whose only claim to fame is being acknowledged by other experts whose only claim to fame . . . .
