Many tourists who visit Spain seem to have the idea that it is hundreds of miles long but only half a mile wide. They miss out on much of the glorious countryside and the wonderful, intimate little exhibitions that can be found in just about any town. Naturally, Marbella, Málaga and Fuengirola will be the targets of most visitors - they are well known and designed to make your stay a happy one, but take a day or two to explore a little of what is inland. Visit the lovely towns that dot the countryside and just go on a small voyage of discovery. You won't be disappointed.
